The urban explorer – Stay at city hostels in Bucharest and get the touch of vibrant nightlife in one of the most important European city break destination. Maybe you don’t know yet but here the party is going on from dawn till morning time. Every day of the week!
Here are some tips where to spend your time (meaning nights) in Bucharest. There are 3 areas with good nightlife in Bucharest: first the Old Town between Unirii and Universtitatii Square with its small streets crowded with pubs, bars and restaurants, second the Northern Area around Herastrau Park with fancy restaurants and the big clubs where you can spend the whole holiday budget in just one night and third the Hipster’s Area around Carol Blvd., where you can find unconventional and alternative type of bars, music clubs and small restaurants.
The Northern Area is a little bit far from downtown where most of the city hostels in Bucharest are. You will have to take a taxi to go there at night. But the other two areas are just in the downtown so you can get there walking.
Here are some spots:
- In Unirii Square Area – Old Town :
Vintage Pub (one of the best pubs in Old Town)
Coco Bongo (restaurant, friends meeting place, music)
100 Beers (just beers! – for serious drinkers…)
- In Hipster’s Area:
Carol 53 (art gallery and club)
Dianei 4 (garden and alternative style pub)
- In Northern Area:
Bamboo Club (probably the best club in Bucharest)
Le Gaga Club (wow !)
During summer don’t miss Eden Garden (behind Stirbey Palace on Calea Victoriei). This is the paradise for youngsters in Bucharest !
